Our Managment

Michael Domb (President and CEO) is a world champion triathlete with a background in open water swimming. His resume in high-level sport began on Team Canada in 2011 where he competed in Beijing at the World Triathlon Championships. The following year, after securing a spot on the team U.S.A delegation to New Zealand, Domb suffered a debilitating injury that found him a new focus where he could practice his love for sport and healthy living, while also striving to persevere in business. As President and C.E.O of the Forest Hill Swim School, Domb envisions a program where children can learn to have fun in a healthy and valuable way. Michael Domb is also the C.E.O of Telespace Ltd.  WWW.TELESPACE.ORG

Olivia Belanger (Head Instuructor and location manager) is a certified lifeguard (NLS) with five years of expirience teaching young children to swim. Prior to teaching, Olivia developed her skills in the water as a competative swimmer where she successfully raced for four years. Currently, Olivia is in her second year of university studying history at King's College. A fine addition to our team, Belanger's well-rounded resume and up-beat personality makes for a productive and fun lesson.

Alexander Papageorge (Program Director) is our program and operations director. Alex's resume began three years ago when he started coaching a summer basketball program for children ages 8 through 16. While coaching youth teams, Alex found a love for sport education and program development. His enthusiasm for sport has taken him to Forest Hill Swim where he crafts programs that uphold a fun, yet safe environment aimed at producing stronger swimmers. Alex's passion for sport, and cheerful manner makes him an excellent asset to our team.

Our Instructors

Wensen Li is lifeguard (NLS) and instructor's  certified with an extensive
background teaching children to swim. His experience in teaching goes beyond the pool, where he has been working mostly for the City of Toronto, and extends to teaching core subjects to elementry students. Wensen's innate ability with children compiled with his great depth of knowledge in swim education makes him an excellent asset to our team, and a natural leader of our swim staff.

Max Possek (Instructor) is lifeguard (NLS) certified with an exstensive and diverse portfolio working with kids both in the pool and out. At age 3, Max began swimming, and grew to become a competative and nationally ranked swimmer specializing in the 1,500 meter freestyle. Outside of the pool, Max volunteered for 2 years in a kindergarten working with kids from the age of 10 months all the way up to 5. "I love being around kids, and especially love to see them evolve and become the amazing little people they are." Max's extensive experience in the pool, particularly with high-level competative sport, along with his natural demenor with kids makes him a strong asset to our team. Max will most often be seen working with our higher-level swimmers.

Katie Phillips (Instructor) is a certified swim teacher (AWSI, WSI) and an Ontario championship (OFSAA) runner. Her interests stem across food and nutrition and healthy living. An every-day teacher at her own facility, Katie's extensive expirience teaching children to swim makes her an excellent asset to the Forest Hill Swim School. Beyond children, Katie is also an asset to our higher level swimmers. Competing as a high-level runner, simming is a natural element of her cross training regime. Katie's natural ability to teach stroke mechanics and technique provides invaluable oppertunity to swimmers striving to shave time off their race.
